WELCOME TO INDIEHQ

IndieHQ was created out of a love of art, creativity and humanity. Each of these things are expressed in countless ways in the world, individually and collectively. When we combine all three and apply the result to the musical artform, the result is the myriad forms and flavors of the Indie music world. Technically speaking, "indie" music refers to that which is created by artists who are not under contract with a studio or producer, an independent artist. This definition helps to separate the indie artists from those in the mainstream. For me, it appears that there are some significant traits and characteristics that help to define those in each of the two categories. There are many mainstream artists who have sacrificed the joy of producing art for the allure of fame and fortune. On the other hand, I have found that most Indie artists haven't forgotten what it is like to create a unique and profound work that speaks from the heart and reflects the essence of the human soul. It is to those that I dedicate this venture. May we all discover and live the Indie spirit.
